I Felt Left Out....Until Now!

So over the last several weeks there has been a buzz in the genealogy blogging community about the upcoming genealogy conference, The Southern California Jamboree. Living in Southern Ontario, a few thousand miles away, and nothing like Southern California, weather wise, I really was feeling like I was missing out.

Just the implication of a Jamboree told me there was fun and exciting times ahead that I just couldn't be a part of.

The cost of a trip like this for myself alone would cost me a couple of thousands of dollars, geez sometimes I really dislike where I live. However, yesterday I was quite excited to learned that the Southern California Jamboree will be offering Live Streaming Video of the conference.

On Saturday June 11th, 5 sessions will be streamed live at various times throughout the day. We need to thank RootsMagic for their sponsorship in making this happen.

Below is a list of the sessions to be streamed. I can tell you I am a long time admirer of Lisa Louise Cooke and I recommend her session highly. Recently I came to learn about Curt Witcher at the RootsTech Conference and he is rock star caliber when it comes to offering up a great lecture.

Please note that these times are Pacific Standard time so check for a time difference in your area. If your on the Eastern time zone like me there is a 3 hour difference.

Thanks guys for streaming these videos and allowing the rest of us to be part of the excitement, see you on Twitter that day at #SCGS11.
