Elizabeth at Genealogy Canada offers up a post on Canada in the American Civil War. She provides a few websites that takes a look at the Civil War from a Canadian's perspective. Something I had yet consider when it came to my Canadian ancestors.  

Writing Your Family History – great advice or information on writing your family history

Another great post this week from  Polish and Publish Tactic Tools for Creative Writers with this article  on 
New Genealogy Blog – we will tip our hat to a newcomer who impresses us right out of the box

My favourite among the new blogs this week is Finding Kline. The back story to this blog is quite interesting. Courtney's story has certainly intrigued me .  
 
 
Family Recipe - a blog that makes us want to eat, and offers up a great old-fashioned family recipe to share on Family Recipe Friday.
