Roots Ireland just sent me this announcement regarding a large collection of baptismal records with promises of more on the way. Reminder this is a subscription based website.

County Monaghan Baptism Records

The Irish Family History Foundation's Online Research Service (ORS) is pleased to announce the availability of the first 32,000 baptism records for County Monaghan. These records cover the parishes of:
Carrickmacross
Donaghmoyne
Drummully-Currin
Ematris
Errigal Truagh
Inishkeen
Magheross
Monaghan
Tydavnet

Just go to the following site and login using your existing IFHF login details.

  1. I found found The Irish Family History Foundation's Online Research Service to be very helpful! Just recently I used it to find dates for a couple elusive ancestors in County Tipperary. Seeing the search results instantly is great. I remember times past when I'd mail off a letter of inquiry and wait for weeks for a response.
